Due to her whip-sword, Ivy has the longest attack range of any character in the game

Isn't Yunsung's transparent blade thing from Soul Calibur 2 the longest weapon in the game?

Techically, but its also an Extra Weapon, and those aren't accounted in Character Analysis.(Johnny Master 23:30, 16 March 2006 (UTC)).

[edit] About Ivy's biography

I would want to know why the removal of the part in her biography that details the creation of Ivy Blade. The way the bio is written now, it seems to imply Ivy left on her journey with a lifeless sword, and Nightmare give it life during their meeting, which is wrong. Ivy left with Ivy Blade as a living weapon, and in her meeting Nightmare told her he was the one who give it life. At least clarify that Ivy Blade was created before Ivy's meeting with Nightmare. That's ok? (Johnny Master 23:30, 16 March 2006 (UTC)).

[edit] "Snake sword"

I don't like the link to whip from the profile box. Considering this sort of weapon has turned up in a few other places (Renji's Zabimaru from Bleach and Signum's Levantine from Nanoha A's, for example), how about creating Snake sword and having this link to there? 137.222.10.58 05:29, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

I also would like to add that Ivy's "whip sword" may also been influenced by (a World Heroes character) Janne D'Arc's weapon which also has similar properties as Ivy's sword. - Markus
