Isabel Pantoja (María Isabel Pantoja Martín) is a popular contemporary Spanish singer, born on August 2, 1956, in the famous Triana district of Seville, Spain. She has released in excess of a dozen albums throughout a career spanning many decades. She is known for her distinctive Andalusian style.

She was married to the famous Spanish bullfighter "Paquirri" (Francisco Rivera), who died September 26, 1984, at the horns of the now infamous bull Avispado.

She adopted a Peruvian girl. She was later accused of conniving with Vladimiro Montesinos, the corrupt strong man of Alberto Fujimori's government to speed paperwork.

She holds a romance with Julián Muñoz, a GIL councillor in Marbella, who became mayor after the sentence against Jesús Gil. Muñoz was later removed by other GIL councillors. He is currently in jail in the Prison of Alhaurin de la Torre.
