Isaac Karabtchevsky

Isaac Karabtchevsky, is a Brazilian conductor and musician of international fame. He conducted the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra in Rio de Janeiro until 1988 when he moved to Vienna to take over the Tonkünstlerorchester. He stayed there until 1995 when he took over the direction of the Grande Teatro La Fenice in Venice. Since 2003, he is the director of Symphony Orchestra of Porto Alegre (OSPA) in Brazil.
