"Is This Love" is a power ballad by Whitesnake, from their album Whitesnake 1987, released, as the album title says in 1987. The song became one of the biggest hits in 1987, and it furtherly defined Whitesnake as one of the most premiere rock groups during the 1980's.
It reached number 2 in the US singles chart, and number 9 in the UK Singles Chart. The video featured David Coverdale's future wife Tawny Kitaen, who had appeared in the band's earlier video for "Here I Go Again". Ironically, the music video also foreshadowed their divorce as Coverdale and Kitaen both went on their separate ways a few years after the video was filmed.
