Is This Goodbye, Charlie Brown?
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Is This Goodbye, Charlie Brown? is one of many prime-time animated TV specials based upon the popular comic strip Peanuts, by Charles M. Schulz. It was originally aired on the CBS network in 1983.
Linus and Lucy find out that their father has been transferred to a job in another city, and that they must move. Everybody is upset about losing their friends, especially Sally Brown, who is losing her "sweet babboo." Happily, they return at the end of the episode because Mr. van Pelt did not like his new job. This is taken directly from a storyline in the comic strip in 1966, in which they appear to be written out of the comic, but return after a few days.
