Is Always Over Now? was the Irish entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1998, performed in English by Dawn Martin.
The song is a ballad, sung from the perspective of a woman at the end of a relationship. She tells her former lover that "Always, you said, was me and you", and thus wonders "Is always over now?/Does it never last that long?"
The song was performed thirteenth on the night (following Slovenia's Vili Resnik with Naj Bogovi Slišijo and preceding Portugal's Alma Lusa with Se Eu Te Pudesse Abraçar). At the close of voting, it had received 64 points, placing 9th in a field of 25.
It was succeeded as Irish representative at the 1999 Contest by The Mullans with When You Need Me.
