Irwin Silber

Irwin Silber (born October 17, 1925) is an American writer. He is known for his writing on American folk songs, for his past editorship of Sing Out! magazine, and as a political activist of the 1940s and 1950s. He is also the author of several books including:

He was for a time married to Barbara Dane.
