Irvine railway station

Irvine railway station is a railway station serving the town of Irvine, North Ayrshire, North Ayrshire, Scotland. The station is managed by First ScotRail and is on the Ayrshire Coast Line.

The station opened on 5 August 1839 as part of the Glasgow, Paisley, Kilmarnock and Ayr Railway. There was a branch leaving here for Crosshouse which closed in 1964. A bridge (Bailey Bridge) which carried this line over the River Irvine has been converted into a road bridge.
