Irvine Unified School District

Irvine Unified School District (IUSD) is a public school district located in Irvine, California.

Irvine USD serves most of the city of Irvine. Its student enrollment during the 2002-2003 school year was 24,700, spread across 22 elementary, 7 middle, and 4 high schools. Four of its high schools were listed in Newsweek's 1,000 Best Public High Schools in America for both 2003 and 2005. Elementary and middle schools within the district also continue to achieve above average standardized test scores and national distinctions.
