IronGargoyle (born June 27, 1981) first contributed to Wikipedia anonymously on January 18, 2006, to the Paul Meehl article. His first non-anonymous contribution was on January 21, 2006, creating the Kat Dennings article.

IronGargoyle is a social psychology graduate student. He plans on making more articles when his time permits. He has extensive knowledge in social and physiological psychology. His Master's Thesis is on psychological reactance and the placebo effect, a topic he plans on expanding Wikipedia's coverage of in the very near future. He also plans on writing on many articles on his non-academic interests.

IronGargoyle is a true geek and enjoys writing poetry and playing many games, including Magic: The Gathering and Warhammer 40,000.
