I removed the comparison to the greys because Irkens don't have much in common with them at all. Their skin and eyes are completely different, they have antennae, they wear lots of clothes while greys normally go around naked, and they come in several heights while greys are normally all the same size. Also, I don't recall Irkens being burned by meat. In one episode, Zim even wears a suit of fast food spacemeat in order to hide from germs. --209.108.217.226 01:52, 14 July 2005 (UTC)

Spacemeat is different than regular meat, in the episode it is featured in, it is clearly stated spacemeat is made of napkins. Zim's burning by meat is seen in the episode Tak: The Hideous New Girl. Tak repeatedly throws meat on Zim, which burns his flesh. However, it is unknown if this effect is Zim-specific, or applies to the entire Irken race. -- 24.15.167.167 (UTC)

I support the notion of moving this page to Irken and making Irkens into the redirect, since this conforms to wikipedia naming standards. If there are no objections, I'll do this in a few days. --InShaneee 02:45, 19 July 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Cleanup

I'm going through and trying to tidy up the articles a little, as the writing styles and different add-ins of various users are starting to show, and also many of the sections could stand to be condensed and reorganized a little. So far I've fixed up the shorter pieces, like Diet and Genders and Reproduction. For the most part I'm not taking out any info, unless there's contradictory statements in the same section, and instead I am just rewording and rearraging things. If anyone has ideas for improving some of the longer entries, I should like to know, as those are going to be more tricky I can see. --Sobekneferu 05:33, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

I'm also wondering what people think of the "Invaders and Notable Irkens" section. Several of those people listed are not notable (Table-Headed Service Drone Bob?) and it's not even a complete list of Invaders. Does anyone else think it should maybe be taken down completely? --Sobekneferu 01:19, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

Ay me, and another thing to ask about -- I notice that more than half of the "morphology" section is actually about the PAK. I think perhaps the PAK should get its own section, and the morphology should be left as just that. Any objections to this change?
