Irby, Merseyside

Irby is a village on The Wirral Peninsula and in the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral, Merseyside, England.
Close to Pensby, it is home to 5,000 people and covers an area of 20sq km. Originally there was an associated hamlet of Irby Hill.
Famous people from Irby include John Aldridge, former Liverpool and Tranmere Rovers footballer and Paul Richardson, formerly of Real Madrid and Ajax.
