Irabu, Okinawa

Irabu (Miyako: irav; Japanese: 伊良部町 -chō) was a town located in Miyako district, Okinawa, Japan.

On October 1, 2005, Hirara, the towns of Irabu and Gusukube, and the village of Ueno merged to form the city of Miyakojima, Okinawa.

As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 6,577 and the density of 167.78 persons per km². The total area is 39.20 km².
