Ira Newble

Ira Newble (born January 20, 1975, in Detroit, Michigan) is an American basketball guard-forward who currently plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers. He previously played for the San Antonio Spurs, and Atlanta Hawks. He went to Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Ira Newble went to Mississippi Gulf Coast Junior College before attending Miami University. While at Mississippi Gulf Coast Junior College, he averaged 8.9 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. At Miami University, he averaged 6.4 points and 5.2 points per game as a junior. As a senior, he averaged 11.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game while earning Honorable Mention All-Mid American Conference honors.
