Talk:Irène Jacob
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Here is a prime example of the stupidity of someone changing my hard work and screwing things up by labelling Irene Jacob as a "French" actress. Really? Ms. Jacob calls herself Swiss, has lived there since she was in diapers, and still does. STOP this self appointed GOD dictum on nationality. The article states where she was born, where she lived, worked etc. Let the reader decide her nationality, IF THAT IS OF IMPORTANCE TO HER PERFORMANCE AS AN ACTRESS. Similarly, you idiots, Bronko Nagurski was born in CANADA. Neither YOU nor I have the right to change his birthright. Is Cary Grant an American? Is Marcel Duchamp an American? Is Man Ray a Frenchman? He lived there almost all his life and is buried there. - Is Matthew Perry a Canadian? Is James Cameron an American? Is Audrey Hepburn Dutch, Belgian, English, American, or Swiss? Is Albert Einstein German? Swiss? American? Brilliant insight here from: JTD -- Deb By YOU labelling them the way YOU see it, does nothing but insult some visitors, turning them away.…DW
- You, yourself called her a French actress, if the history page is anything to go by... -Nommo

- Yep, DW created the article and called her "French" in the very first version. -- Zoe
