Jabez 05:19, 6 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Stalker pictures

Hi Anatoly-

Thanks for your contribution of all those photos from the Stalker shoot. Same for Mirror and Solaris. But I'm not sure the copyright info is good for them. You said that their copyright holder has released all rights... do you have a statement to that effect from the original copyright holder (maybe Mosfilm)? It seems unlikely to me that whoever shot those has released all rights. I can't find anything online called "ivanovo museums photofiles" to verify this. Staecker 23:10, 29 April 2006 (UTC)

You tagged these with "No rights reserved", which means that the creater has released all rights to the images. Unless you have documentation to this effect, this is an incorrect tag to use. Since we don't even know the photographer, it's not possible to obtain permission. The only way that I can think of (I'm not an expert) to keep these is to claim them as "fair use", since they're on display at a public museum. I'm going to ask for comment at Wikipedia talk:Fair use#Tarkovsky museum images, which you can watch for other opinions.

[edit] Tarkovsky images

Hi again- Your images Image:Solyaris1.jpg and Image:Solyaris2.jpg look like they're from Zerkalo. Is it possible you mixed them up? Or am I remembering incorrectly? Staecker 23:16, 29 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Tarkovsky at work

Hi! About Image:Solyaris1.jpg and Image:Solyaris2.jpg... I think - You right - this images may be from Mirror film. But I'm not sure. All information in images description I take from museum of Tarkovsky in Yuryevets, Ivanovo Oblast description photofiles - perhaps they mistake. I think, we can some wait another opinion of users and remove images. (Now this images removed to The Mirror (1975 film).) And about copyrights - I scaning original photoprints this images in different museums of Ivanovo region (including museum of Tarkovsky in Yuryevets - [1]), but in musems description don't have information about photographers... P.S. How You think - may be some images of "Tarkovsky at work" features on Andrei Tarkovsky wikipage?
