Iorwith Wilbur Abel

Iorwith Wilbur Abel (August 11, 1908 – August 10, 1987) was a U.S. labor leader.
Born in Magnolia, Ohio, he was one of the founders of the United Steelworkers of America, and served as their president from 1965 until 1977, during which time membership rose dramatically. He was also vice-president of the AFL-CIO.
