Ion Cristoiu

Ion Cristoiu is a Romanian journalist with some influence in the early 1990s, famous for establishing the so called "quick journalism" - sappy stories and nude women for the readers.
Lost a trial against a woman journalist he called bad names and sold his house to pay the fine of 250 million ROL (approx. US$85,000).
He founded in 1993 the daily Evenimentul Zilei and was an unofficial counselor for president Emil Constantinescu.
