Inverell Shire Council is the name of the Local Government Area in the North West Slopes region of New South Wales, Australia. It is on the Macintyre River and the Gwydir Highway.
The Shire includes the town of Inverell and small towns and villages including Gilgai, Stannifer, Elsmore, Bukkula, Ashford, Bonshaw and Yetman, Wallangra, Graman, Delungra and Mount Russell.
