Invacare Corporation is a manufacturer of a wide variety of medical products generally intendeed for use in homes. These include mobility scooters, wheelchairs, associated accessories, other durable medical equipment, and some disposable health care goods. They have a referral system for use by customers seeking repairs, and make use of an extensive network of dealers. It places a great emphasis on developing new products. Its headquarters are located in Elyria, Ohio, and its manufacturing plants are located in the United States and 11 other countries.
