[edit] Tara Smith
How am I trying to "direct the boiling wrath of the KKK" against her? She's an Objectivist and Objectivists are atheists, period. I am an ADMIRER of Dr. Smith, and an Objectivist myself, not a "mystical bigot." I'll leave the categories alone for now (unless a consensus is reached) since you seem so adament if you'll promise to do me a favor and ASK HER if she is indeed an atheist. And please stop the ad hominem against me; it's childish and pointless. LaszloWalrus 04:10, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
Hello Interpreter. Você diz a verdade? Eu penso que você é um fantoche do sock. Você sabe o que eu estou dizendo? Eu não significo nenhum disrespect mas você cabe o padrão. Billyjoekoepsel 23:30, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
I have made my reasoning so clear as to balk feigned incomprehension on the part of the anonymous Big Bird. Grammatically, however, there is a huge difference between saying that John seeks to expose Mary to the boiling wrath of the KKK and saying that John IS the KKK. It may be that John is eager to be singled out for abuse, but that does not obligate me to fill that need. Twisting other people's words when the original is right there in plain sight is a rhetorical dodge so amply guaranteed to backfire as to obviate rebuttal. Billy's garbleware (slangy neologism for machine translation programs) can possibly be modified to render sockpuppet as polichinelo or simply fantoche. Since all are still wearing masks at this Klavern, where I am but a bumbling intruder who picked the wrong door, I will watch and see if any others come off first. Meanwhile I am known by my actions and my arguments, if any good, will speak for themselves without crybaby tactics or red herrings.
Short story: I will contact Tara and ask her opinion. If she says she wants the entire thing deleted, that will suit me just fine. translator 17:17, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
I agree to abide by whatever Dr. Smith says, as you report it, although I do think she is notable enough to appear in Wikipedia and I believe that she will confirm that she is indeed an atheist. LaszloWalrus 04:05, 1 March 2006 (UTC)

- Klavern? KKK? If I classify Tara Smith as an atheist it is at worst inaccurate. Terminology like what your using is extremely over the top. It is my opinion that you should apologize to Laszlo. Billyjoekoepsel 06:10, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
Valuable opinion noted with thanks. Here's the deal: Tara Smith says "I appreciate your letting me know abut the Wikipedia mess, but I have no interest in reading it or getting involved in the least."
I just looked at the listing for Lenin, author of "On Religion" which he describes as "opium for the masses." There is no grafitti there identifying him as an atheist despite syllogistic verities to the effect that all communists/Marxists are atheists. Are you fellows falling down on the job here?
Orwell's "Homage to Catalonia" mentions a character who went through an entire Spanish graveyard chiseling off the crosses. I swear it reminds me of you fellows... except that he was impartial. translator 22:06, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
I have added Lenin to the atheist category; thanks for correcting the oversight. You seem to believe that I have some sort of hostility towards Ayn Rand or Objectivism. Quite the contrary; I have fought to stop gratuitous smears against Rand (from people who say, for example, that she was an opponent of gay rights and who have labeled her a homophobe). If you really want to eliminate the atheist categorization, fine. I believe it's accurate, but I won't fight you on it. Your attempts to imply that I am guilty of smearing and your comparing me to the KKK is insulting. LaszloWalrus 02:56, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
I have watched the defense against the flaming vandal and thought you did well. Equivocation in order to play the victim adds nothing to the discussion. I maintain--after long experience filled with hard knocks--that adopting language coined by your opponents is counterproductive. I never call looters liberals or mystical bigots conservatives. I received a joke today that is most apropos: A father asks his son, aged 10, if he knows about the birds and the bees. "I don't want to know!" the child said, bursting into tears. Confused, the father asked his son what was wrong.
"Oh dad," he sobbed, "at age six I got the 'there's no Santa' speech. At age seven I got the 'there's no Easter bunny' speech. Then at age 8 you hit me with the 'there's no tooth fairy' speech!
"If you're going to tell me now that grown-ups don't really have sex, I've got nothing left to live for!"
