If this is the Interstate 85 in Georgia page, is it necessary to show Major Cities that are outside of Georgia? That is covered on the main I-85 page. -Atltraffic 19:01, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

Those are presumably signed on I-85 inside Georgia. --NE2 19:35, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
Yes, that's correct – both Greenville and Montgomery are signed from as far away as Atlanta (including on other Atlanta Interstates approaching I-85). –Pedriana (talk) 20:21, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
As was stated, both are posted as control cities in Georgia. Plus, presenting them keeps the continuity of direction and makes it easier for people going from one article to the next to keep the sequence.
