[edit] Anwar Ibrahim

Was ISA used against Anwar Ibrahim? Soon after his arrest, he was charged in court and was later sentenced, so it shouldn't be considered as detained under ISA, right? --Vsion 09:07, 23 July 2005 (UTC) He was first detained under the ISA for 24 days. -- SE http://www.hrw.org/campaigns/malaysia98/anwar-chronology.htm

[edit] Unification Church

This [1] says that the Unification Church was banned in 1982, not 1991, and makes no mention of the ISA...? Jpatokal 14:10, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

I agreed, my mistake, it was checked and confirmed to be 1982. However, from this source [2], there was no fair trial, no reason whatsoever was given to banned the church. Under the law of Singapore, and according to some of the UC members I knew, Internal Security Act was use against them. This, however, couldn't be confirm from any sources.
