Talk:Interdiscursivity

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It has been remarked that there too few references to other articles. However, this is done in the article interdiscourse to which there is linked. It is a matter of taste whether you want to have the concept described as interdiscourse or interdiscursivity. But, it doesn't seem relevant to have both concepts explained since it is questionable if there is any difference except what is suggested grammatically (interdiscursivity is a facet of discourses, i.e. they take part in interdiscourse). I prefer the explanation under interdiscourse, for grammatical reasons: interdiscusivity is a derived form of interdiscourse. Both concepts (especially, interdiscursivity) are used in the scientific litterature, but often not in the same work. Therefore, both concepts should have an entry in wikipedia.
