Intuit Canada is a leading developer of e-finance solutions, including personal finance management, small business accounting and tax preparation software as well as Web-based services. The company is headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta and has offices in Calgary, Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal. Intuit Canada employs over 350 people.

The company was founded in 1992 by Edmontonians Bruce Johnson and Chad Frederick, two University of Alberta graduates. Bruce, a computer programmer, and Chad, an accountant, decided to build a tax preparation product called WINTAX - Canada's first Windows-based personal tax preparation software. In 1993, they agreed to be acquired by Chipsoft, manufacturer of the U.S. personal income tax software TurboTax. Chipsoft in turn was acquired by Intuit Inc..

Intuit Greenpoint's main product is PROFILE, which provides a full complement of professional tax software products to more than 12,000 offices in all jurisdictions of Canada.
