EDI-Bombardier Interurban Multiple Units (160 Series) are a model of electric multiple unit currently being built for CityTrain in South East Queensland, Australia.

QR ordered the new IMUs in 2005 in conjunction with the upgrade and duplication of the Gold Coast Line. The units will be first introduced into service on the Gold Coast Line in May 2007.
[edit] Operation
The trains are numbered IMU161-176. The trains' body is based on Transperth's B-Series train.
[edit] Timetable
The units will increase off-peak carrying capacity and will double the amount of peak-hour services on the Gold Coast Line. The trains will also progressively replace some peak-hour EMU timetabled services on the Sunshine Coast Line, thus eliminating the use of suburban trains on peak-hour interurban trips
