From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Interprovincial Lottery Corporation (ILC) is an organization which operates lottery games in Canada. It is owned jointly by the its member provincial lottery commissions. ILC's headquarters are located in Toronto, Ontario.
The ILC was established by the provincial lottery organisations in 1976 to operate joint lottery games across Canada. Today it oversees three games, Lotto 6/49, Celebration (a special event lottery) and Lotto Super 7.
Each provincial organisation is individually responsible for marketing the national games within its own jurisdiction, and revenues are returned to each province in proportion to generated sales.
