International Wrestling Cartel

The International Wrestling Cartel (IWC) is an independent circuit professional wrestling promotion based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Founded in 2001 by local radio personality and wrestler Bubba the Bulldog, IWC has since become the most prominent independent promotion in the Pittsburgh area. IWC is now run by long-time Pittsburgh wrestling promotor Norm Connors. IWC shows occur on a monthly basis in and around the Pittsburgh area.

IWC's regular roster contains Shirley Doe, "Fabulous" John McChesney, Sterling James Kennan, Sebastian Dark, Super Hentai, "Wonderman" Glenn Spectre, Dennis Gregory, The Gambino Brothers Moving Company, Tracy Smothers and Chris Hamrick, Jason Gory, Shiima Xion, and many others.
IWC also brings in more prominent independent wrestlers on a fairly regular basis. AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Chris Sabin, CM Punk, Chris Hero, Homicide, Low Ki, "Spyder" Nate Webb, Alex Shelley, Jimmy Jacobs and others, have made appearances.

[edit] Super Indy Tournament
IWC is perhaps best known for the annual Super Indy Tournament. This tournament, usually held in May, crowns a new Super Indy Champion, and that belt is defended like any other title until the following year's tournament. A history of the Super Indy Title follows.
