International Navigation Company

The International Navigation Company was the official name of the holding company that ran both the American Line and the Red Star Line from their foundation in 1871 to their merger into the International Mercantile Marine Co. in 1902. The company was headquartered in Philadelphia, and its most noteworthy president during its lifespan was Clement Griscom.
