- This article is about the main organization. For the awards, see IIFA Awards.
IIFA does not represent Indian Films it does represent only Hindi films hence IIFA is a misnomer.Indian Films include Hindi films , Telugu films , Tamil ,Malayalam ,Bengali and other regional films as well. The Telugu industry produces the largest number of movies , while RajniKanth is the largest paid actor in India , and it is the southern film industry which is pioneering in many technical and creative ventures.Bollywoods contribution to Indian films is nothing but to remake these films and copy Hollywood films. Then in which way can we say Hindi films represent Indian films. So it is a public demand that please change the name or include all the indian films in the ceremony . International Indian Film Academy, or IIFA, is a bollywood organisation that promotes Hindi cinema all over the world. IIFA is supported and co-sponsered by Wizcraft Internation Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., which is a premiere event management and entertainment agency. IIFA's brand-ambessador is Amitabh Bachchan.
