International Community School (Thailand)

International Community School (ICS) is a Christian-based school, teaching kindergarten-12th grade in Bangkok, Thailand. Its mission statement is, "Based on the Bible, in partnership with parents, we teach the whole student to know and apply wisdom for the good of our world and the glory of God." In the year 2004, ICS has moved its campus from the centre of Bangkok to the outskirts of the city, Bangna. Before the school moved campuses, their headmaster was Jim Bedford, but currently the headmaster of ICS is Darren Gentry. ICS is accredited by WASC (Western Association of Schools and College) and ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International). Although ICS is an international school, it does not offer IGCSE, GCSE, or IB courses but does offer the AP (Advanced Placement). ICS is not in the FOBISSEA (Federation of British International Schools in South East Asia) as it is an American-systemed school.
