International Championship of College A Cappella
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The International Championship of College A Cappella (ICCA) is produced by Varsity Vocals. Each year, hundreds of collegiate a cappella groups audition for a spot in the competition. In each region, approximately 18-24 groups are selected to compete at divisional events. At each divisional, the top scoring groups advance to the regional competition. The winners of each regional competition compete in the International finals, held at the Lincoln Center in New York City.
In 2005, the success of the ICCA produced a spin-off competition, the International Championship of High School A Cappella (ICHSA).
