The Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE) is the world's largest professional society dedicated solely to the support of the industrial engineering profession and individuals involved with improving quality and productivity.

Members include both college students and professionals. IIE holds annual regional and national conferences in the United States.

IIE is headquartered in the United States in Norcross, Georgia, a suburb located northeast of Atlanta.

The Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE) cosponseres two certifications with the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME): the Certified Engineering Manager (CEM) and Certified Enterprise Integrator (CEI)
