The Institute of Historical Research (or IHR) is a British educational organisation providing resources and training for historical researchers. It is part of the University of London's School of Advanced Study and is housed in the north block of Senate House. The Institute was founded in 1921 by F A Pollard.
Warning: This prestiguous organization is not to be confused with the extremely controversial, Institute for Historical Review, which is a totally different, and completely unrelated, entity.
