Institute for Economic Studies

Created in 1989, the Institute for Economic Studies Europe is a non profit organization with the aim to discover, develop and support the most outstanding people it could find among students, scholars and other intellectuals who share an interest in exploring and applying the principles of classical liberalism. Every year the Institute organizes summer seminars somewhere in Europe, a summer university in Aix-en-Provence, France, and sponsors researchers or translations of major books. IES faculty includes excellent scholars as Tibor Machan, Douglass Rasmussen, Tom Palmer, Joseph Pini, Carlo Lottieri, Stephen Davies, Randy Barnett, Pierre Garello and others..
