Institute for America's Future

Institute for America's Future is an American thinktank which distributes reports, gathers and processes information, and does analysis of various progressive causes. It issues of focus include, the environmental, energy, and health care issues, social security, education and congress accountability. The Institute is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

The Institute has a sister organization called Campaign for America's Future which is a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization which takes the information and analysis done by the Institute and proposes progressive solutions.

The Institute now also funds a popular website, TomPaine.com, which offers news, opinion and policy analysis from a progressive perspective.

The Institute also established a joint project with the Center on Wisconsin Strategy called the Apollo Alliance, which is a 501(c)(3) thinktank that deals with energy issues.
