[edit] Overview
The visual learning software tool Inspiration is published by Inspiration Software, Inc. and is used primarily by students for building graphic organizers such as concept maps, diagrams and webs to visually represent concepts and relationships. Compatible with Macintosh and PC operating systems, Inspiration was developed for students grade 6 to adult, to help them better analyze complex topics, brainstorm and explore ideas, increase writing proficiency and develop planning skills across all subjects, including language arts, science and social studies.
Inspiration has two primary interfaces, Diagram View and Outline View. Diagram View allows for the creation and management of graphic organizers. Then, work done in Diagram View can be transferred to Outline View, where a traditional hierarchical outline format eases the transition to writing.
Inspiration is also useful for a variety of tasks including web site planning and project management by educators, administrators, business users and higher-education students.
You can use this to make a chart for studying with. I did, and it works extremely well.
