[edit] Biography

Insision is a Swedish Brutal Death Metal sound with a very non-Swedish sound. Getting inspirations from Cryptopsy, Morbid Angel, Cannibal Corpse and Deicide, they are one of the freshest new Death Metal bands coming from the Swedish front.

They have released two full lengths, "Beneath The Folds of Flesh" (2002) and "Revealed and Worshipped" (2004). Besides those they have released 3 demos titled "Meant to Suffer" (1997), "Promo 2000" (2000) and "The Dead Live On" (1999). They did a split with Inveracity called "Revelation of the SadoGod" in 2001.

After being plagued with a few line-up changes (Toob Brynedahl and Thomas Daun both left the band for personal reasons and Marcus Johannson has joined the band as drummer) Insision is currently in the Black Lounge studio, Avesta, Sweden. They are recording their third full-length album entitled "Ikon" which should be released somewhere in December 2006 - January 2007, providing they have found a new record label. Insision split ways with their previous label Earache Records in April 2006.

The band has posted a message to people interested in playing guitars for the band on their website on december 12, 2006. They have now finished recording IKON and signed a lable deal with Dnetal Records, and their new album is supposed to be out somewhere in March/April 2007.
