Inova Fairfax Hospital

Inova Fairfax Hospital is the largest hospital in the Washington D.C. area. Located in Fairfax County, Virginia, Inova Fairfax Hospital is the flagship hospital of Inova Health System, one of the largest employers in Fairfax County. The hospital campus includes the only heart institute in the region, the Inova Heart and Vascular Institute.
The hospital is a 924-bed campus. It employs more than 6000 workers and admitted more than 50,000 patients in 2005. It serves as the region's only Level 1 Trauma Center and the only full-range organ transplant center.
Inova Fairfax Hospital also hosts residents from universities such as the University of Virginia, and is a clinical campus for students from Virginia Commonwealth University.
