The Inner Northern Busway is a shorter, 4.7km long counterpart to the South-East Busway. It is only partially completed with three stations operational.

Name of station TransLink zone Serving suburbs Connections
Inner-Northern Busway (Inbound)
RCH Herston 1 Herston
QUT Kelvin Grove 1 Kelvin Grove
Normanby 1 Spring Hill, Petrie Terrace
Roma Street 1 Petrie Terrace Rail connections at Roma Street Station
King George Square 1 Brisbane CBD
(Connects to Queen Street Bus Station)

The Inner-Northern Busway will run from the Queen Street Bus Station via a tunnel to new stations at King George Square and Roma Street. It will then connect to a separate road corridor running parallel to the Exhibition Loop railway lines to the Normanby Fiveways. The corridor then runs to the inner city suburbs of Kelvin Grove and Herston. It eventually connects to Lutwyche Road at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital near the Inner City Bypass interchange. Most of this corridor has actually been completed apart from the tunnels under King George Square. It will be finished by 2007 and will eventually link to the Northern Busway.
