Inhuman Rampage is DragonForce's third album, released on January 9, 2006 and released in North America on June 20, 2006. The version of this album that includes the bonus "rockumentary" has a Parental Advisory label, but the normal version does not. In America, the album reached number 1 in the Billboards Heatseekers chart; it also reached #103 on the Billboard 200 chart; and its single "Through the Fire and Flames" has received rock radio and Fuse TV airplay.

  • The album was leaked onto the internet sometime in October 2005, although the tracks in question were "unmixed and unmastered".
  • The release of Inhuman Rampage had been delayed in North America while a new record deal was negotiated and released on June 20, 2006. As of April 2006, DragonForce is signed to Roadrunner Records in the US.
  • DragonForce released a limited number of signed booklets with the album for orders from the Tower Records website.
  • Several songs and solos were written and recorded in hotels during the Sonic Firestorm tour.
  • The heavily-distorted black metal-style backing vocals on the album were performed by Lindsay "Behemoth" Dawson, a former bandmate of Sam Totman and Herman Li in Demoniac.
  • A segment of the video for "Through the Fire and Flames" was parodied in Brian Posehn's "Metal by Numbers" video.
