Inheritance Abuse 
  • Inheritance abuse is the willful act of an individual to use assets and possessions in their estate to emotionally manipulate their families and/or other heirs .
  • Inheritance abuse can take the form of children receiving unequal shares of an estate, giving family heirlooms to inappropriate parties, etc.
  • Inheritance abuse can be a very painful emotional strain that exacerbates the already significant pain of grief.
  • Inheritance abuse can never be reversed or resolved. When it does occur, it can be a lifelong emotional burden.
