Ingoda River

Ingoda River (Russian: Ингода) is a river in the Chita Oblast in Russia. The length of the river is 708 km. The area of its basin 37,200 sq km. Together with the Onon River, it forms the Shilka River. The Ingoda River freezes up in early November and stays under the ice until late April. The city of Chita is located on the Ingoda River. A big part of the Trans-Siberian Railway lies in the Ingoda River valley.
