Ingenico S.A. (Euronext: INGENICO) is a world-wide company, whose business is to provide the technology involved in secure electronic transactions. Its traditional business is based around the manufacture of point of sale payment terminal, but it now also includes complete payment solutions.
It was founded in France by Jean-Jacques Poutrel in 1980. It continued to be based in France with its headquarters in Neuilly-sur-Seine.
