[edit] Usage
This is based on the article Westborough, Massachusetts, as of 04:51, 16 April 2006 (UTC). Try to fill in as many fields as possible, and leave fields with unknown or irrelavent information blank after the equal sign (this will let people fill in the information later without having to add the row into the template). Note that some fields will always be blank for certain towns (for example, some towns might not have a nickname). Blank fields do not show up, with the exception of the following: official_name, polulation_total, population_as_of, total_area, area_land, and area_water. Data for these fields exist (and should be easy to find) for all towns in Massachusetts.

[edit] Population density units
It seems that the population density units in many of the the articles that use this template incorrectly use "mi²" as the unit for population density (rather than "/mi² or " per mi²"). I have tried to change this for several of the pages using this template (e.g. see this edit), but it is somewhat tedious. Is this something a bot could do?--GregRM 17:24, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
- I just fixed this problem in all 350 Massachusetts city and town articles that use this template. --CapitalR 07:03, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
- Good job...thanks a lot!--GregRM 00:18, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] What's the point of this template?
What makes this template significantly different from {{Infobox City}} that you have to have a completely separate template? howcheng {chat} 21:55, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
- Mostly the government stuff; which is fairly unique to New England states (and some of NY too).—Markles 02:21, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
Be warned. Template:Infobox Town NH was totally deleted without warning by User:Drinibot a stooge (aka bot) of User:Drini. MA could be next. --Assawyer 05:03, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Space
The different community articles all have an awkward space at the top of them. Is that inserted somewhere in this template? Sahasrahla 08:30, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
