- Temple Name (Variable: name)
- What's the official name of this temple?
- Example: San Diego California Temple
- Use: the full name of the temple including the state or country and the word "Temple". Do not use the precursor "The".
- Avoid: linking the name of the temple.
- Relevant Image (Variable: image)
- By which graphic can the temple be identified?
- Use: a clear front view image of the entire structure when available.
- Avoid: Arial views, close up architectural views.
- Size: Images are currently resized to a 200px width. For better visual quality, use an image with a width greater than 200px.
- Image caption (Variable: caption)
- The description for the image (eg. Nauvoo Temple at night)
- Use: A short description of the image, shorter temple names are acceptable. (See above for what an image should consist of.) This is used as the alternate text that will be shown by hovering the mouse over the image. See also Wikipedia:Alternative text for images.
- If omitted, the caption will be the file's name.
- Number (Variable: number)
- Which order is this temple chronologically?
- Use: The number based on operational usage. Kirkland and the original Nauvoo do not count. If a temple was rededicated, use the original number. Nauvoo is an exception. When all else fails, use the official LDS numbering convention.
- Announcement (Variable: announcement)
- Groundbreaking (Variable: groundbreaking)
- Open House (Variable: open_house)
- Dedication (Variable: dedication)
- Rededication (Variable: rededication)
- When was the temple announced? dedicated? etc.
- Use: the exact announcement date. ("May 18, 2008"). If there is a date range use an "mdash" as opposed to a hyphen. Do not use breaks <br>.

- Who designed the architecture of the temple?
- Use: the name of the person or design company that designed the temple
- Wiki: do not link the name, as the template will link it for you.
- Location (Variable: location)
- What is the actual address of the temple?
- Use: the standard address of the temple including country. Use <br> to define lines. Link to cities, states and countries.

- What is the phone number of the temple?
- Use: the official phone number of the temple including area or country codes.
- Site (Variable: site_acre, site_m)
- What is the size of the plot of land?
- Use: the size in acres and meters.
- Example: site_acre = 7.2
- Floor area (Variable: floor_area_ft, floor_area_m)
- What is the size of the temple in square feet and square meters?
- Use: the size in square feet and square meters.
- Example: floor_area_ft = 110,000
- Finish (Variable: Finish)
- What is the exterior finish of the temple?
- Use: a description of the finish of the temple.
- Design (Variable: design)
- What is the style of the temple?
- Use: the style used for the temple. Link to any pages relating to temple styles (if they become available)
- Ordinance rooms (Variable: ordinance_rooms)
- Sealing rooms (Variable: sealing_rooms)
- How many ordinance rooms and sealing rooms does this temple have
- Example: 4
- Use: the number of rooms.
- Cloting rental (Variable: clothing rental)
- Does this temple supply clothing rental to its patrons?
- Example: Yes
- Use: either a "Yes" or "No" is sufficient, unless the temple has special cases.
- Cafeteria (Variable: cafeteria)
- Does this temple have a cafeteria?
- Example: Full cafeteria service
- Use: either a "Full cafeteria service" or "None" or "Vending food service" or similar.
- Visitors' Center (Variable: visitors_center)
- Does this temple have a visitor's center?
- Example: Yes
- Use: generally a "Yes" or "No" is sufficient, but some cases may require more details, such as the Salt Lake's Temple Square or San Diego's Mormon Battalion center.
- Preceded by (Variable: preceded_by)
- What temple chronologically preceded this film?
- Use: the exact name (not a link) to the related temple that was dedicated before this one. Leave blank if nothing preceded it. Do not write a link or add punctuation.
- Followed by (Variable: followed_by)
- What temple chronologically followed this film?
- Use: the exact name (not a link) to the related temple that was dedicated after this one. Leave blank if nothing followed it. Do not write a link or add punctuation.
- LDS website ID (Variable: lds_id)
- What is the temple's LDS identification number?
- Use: The series of numbers at the end of the URL for the temples's page excluding the .html. http://www.lds.org/temples/main/0,11204,1912-1-81-0,00.html.

- Temple page ID (Variable: temple_id)
- What is the temple's profile identification name?
- Use: the exact profile name. http://www.ldschurchtemples.com/cgi-bin/pages.cgi?san_diego.

- Use: a single link per subject.
- Avoid: linking the same subject twice or more.
- Use: <br /> between entries.
- Avoid: commas, semicolons, and other marks. (Entries are separated by the return character.)
