Talk:Infanta Catarina of Portugal

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There's not a king "Edward of Portugal", in portuguese history. I don't know who was Catherine's father, but, if she was daughter of a portuguese king, her father could never be Edward, just because there's no Edwards in portuguese monarchy. There was a Catherine of Braganza, daughter of King John IV of Braganza (XVII cent.), but I'm not sure if this article refers to that person.

Duarte is translated to Edward in English. Joaopais 18:56, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
