[edit] BOS/e
BOS/e, which stands for Business Operating System for Enterprise, is a Microsoft Windows client/server platform. Its 3-tier architecture is being brokered by BOS/e Universal Application Server which is based on Borland Delphi Midas technology. Its end-user applications come in components which are categorized into BOS/e Business Engine and BOS/e Business Solutions such as BOS/e HCM (i.e. BOS/e PeopleWARE and BOS/e PayFast), BOS/e Finest LOBs (line of business applications) i.e. BOS/e Finest Restaurant, BOS/e Finest Drugstore, BOS/e Finest Hospital and BOS/e Finest Microfinance. Upcoming BOS/e Business Solutions are BOS/e FIM (Financial Information Management), BOS/e CRM, BOS/e SCM (Supply Chain Management), and BOS/e ERP.
BOS/e Business Engine consists of components meant for the BOS/e Administrator. These components include BOS/e Data Architect, BOS/e InfoManager, BOS/e Lookup Manager, BOS/e Registry Manager, BOS/e Data Fetcher, BOS/e Backup/Restore Manager, BOS/e User-Role Manager, and BOS/e SQL Job Agent.
[edit] iBOS/e
iBOS/e is a web platform. It consists of iBOS/e WebShell and iBOS/e Business Solutions such as iBOS/e eHR and iBOS/e eEnterprise.
iBOS/e WebShell is a generic enterprise portal builder with building blocks that enable the iBOS/e Administrator to create business solutions without programming. Among these building blocks are iBOS/e eForms, iBOS/e eViews, iBOS/e eTasks, iBOS/e eReports, and iBOS/e eGraphs.
[edit] XMiLe
XMiLe is a Java-based desktop platform. It consists of:
- My XMiLe, a client application which provides users with a secure environment for creating, editing, sending and receiving XDocuments, which are essentially XML-formatted files.
- XMiLe Designer, a graphical tool for designing XDocuments e.g. XForms, XReports and XViews.
- XMiLe Server, the server application that serves as the gateway for the traffic between My XMiLe clients and the back-end enterprise databank.
XMiLe's objective is to cover the so-called last mile of enterprise computing, which is the space between offline users (i.e. those who may have only dial up connection) and their back-end enterprise systems.
[edit] XDocuments
A brand of XML-formated documents created using XMiLe Designer. XDocuments are encrypted with public/private keys, and were created for transporting highly confidential data such as bank statements, medical records, and the like.
The recipient of an XDocument, which can be attached to email just like any M$ Office document, would need to install in his/her desktop My XMiLe software to be able to open/modify an XDocument.

This is a detailed survey of what is infrastructure, and how different it is from infostructure. Infostructure is considered to be close to Middleware, rather than hardware, software, etc. And middleware, semantically includes all processes, interfaces, and human contributions. By this analogy, infostructure, as a term can also be considered as synonymous to libraries, archives, museums, etc.
