INESC (Instituto de Engenharia de Sistemas e Computadores) - Research Institute of Computer Systems is a private association without lucrative ends. It dedicates itself to education, incubation and scientific investigation.
INESC was founded in 1980. Currently Portugal Telecom SGPS, SA (PT), Universidade do Porto (UP), PT Comunicações, SA (PTC), Universidade de Aveiro (UA), Universidade Técnica de Lisboa (UTL), Universidade de Coimbra (UC) and Correios de Portugal, SA (CTT) are associate with INESC.
