Talk:Industrial tribunal
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A good article but will need some more information. I am not very knowledgible in this area, but i am interested in it. Can others please contribute more information...
Yeah. I hopped to this page from "whistleblowing" via "public interest disclosure act". I looked at this page because the bodies referred to here have been known for some years as Employment (rather than Industrial) Tribunals. I have not edited it because you (whoever you are) already have an interest and may prefer to do it yourself. There is already a good body of information on the employment tribunals at their web site http://www.employmenttribunals.gov.uk; It may be possible and sensible to use that as the source and summarise it here Justdignity 19:18, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Move Page to Employment Tribunal?
-
- I have rewritten the original article. Although the overview was technically correct it was outdated in so far as the term "Industrial Tribunal" ceased to apply in 1998, replaced by Employment Tribunal. Since the article is obviously intended to describe the tribunal's current purpose, the title seems inappropriate. I've made a reference to the name change within the article. As well as including the main thrust of the original article, I have added references to the rules that govern tribunals, and some recent statistics. Does anyone know how to go about moving the page under a different title without stopping the world from revolving? Justdignity 20:35, 18 September 2006 (UTC)

- I have left this page more or less as it was, but added contemporary information to Employment_tribunalJustdignity 13:42, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
